| Sam Faulkner Born 21/06/72. Studied philosophy at University of London. Became freelance photographer in 1995 and same year won Ian Parry Award for young photojournalists, sponsored by the Sunday Times Magazine, for work on Afghanistan. Since then has worked for publications such as Independent Magazine, Sunday Times Magazine, Esquire, Marie Claire, GQ and Suddeutsche Zeitung. Took part in World Press Photo Masterclass 2001. Won 2001 Observer Hodge Award for work from Colombia which is part of long term project about the International cocaine industry. |
